Yeah Wine Cabernet Franc

GROWING & MAKING:  Grown by the Thompson Family (with help from my mate Dicko) at their 25-year-old Wilyabrup vineyard.  The grapes were destemmed but not crushed, with the berries left whole and fermented in an open vat.  Gently hand-plunged, basket pressed and matured in neutral oak.  This is all about capturing bright fruit and vibrancy.  Medium bodied, with cherries, boysenberries and pretty floral nose, this has deceptively fine tannins and a long finish.  Super slurpable and yum, but layered with class and elegance.

Unfined, unfiltered; minimal mucking about. Vegan.
